The Arizona Immigration Bill isn’t an Unfounded Vendetta

The Arizona Immigraton bill is meant to protect American Citizens

The way that liberals, and especially President Obama are whining about the new immigration bill in Arizona, you would think that the governor woke up and decided to enact a vendetta towards illegal Mexicans purely for the hell of it.

Somehow, it is lost upon the mainstream media that there is in fact, the real purpose for the passage of the Arizona law S.B. 1070  is to protect the citizens of the state. After all, the ever increasing tide of illegal immigrants has resulted in a spike violent crime, even more strain on the public healthcare system, and a steady flow of drugs and corruption to the general public.

So, what does the law say exactuly?

I have included the basic verbiage below, or you can read the bill in it’s entirety by clicking here.

S.B. 1070
Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:
Section 1. Intent
The legislature finds that there is a compelling interest in the cooperative enforcement of federal immigration laws throughout all of Arizona. The legislature declares that the intent of this act is to make attrition through enforcement the public policy of all state and local government agencies in Arizona. The provisions of this act are intended to work together to discourage and deter the unlawful entry and presence of aliens and economic activity by persons unlawfully present in the UnitedStates.

The Arizona Bill Gives Power Back to the People

The Arizona Immigration bill is one of the very few laws enacted in this day and age that actually sides with the American citizen. It gives police the ammunition to become more aggressive towards the burden of illegal immigration, thereby making that state a safer, more accommodating place to live.

And when the hell were we so concerned with the “rights” of people who have broken the law, and are here illegally. It makes no sense to reward this type of bad behavior, which in turn gives way to an even heavier flow of inbound illegal traffic. So who cares if we profile people who fit the bill of being here illegally?  The bottom line is that, like young Muslim males on planes, we can and should racially profile suspicious people who are up to no good. It just makes sense…

What do you think about the Arizona Immigration Bill?

About time we stood up to the illegal aliens and the the federal government which is aiding them with their invasion. Thank you Governor Brewer and the Arizona Legislature!

I agree with Arizona, 100%. All states should follow. If the government wants to really know the feeling of it’s citizens put it to a vote. We want this handled, no more playing nice, no more just sending them back, how about not letting them here in the first place!

Only a fool with a limited mind and education would agree with this and not see what is wrong with it. We need to rise above bigotry, sexism, racism, and all of the low isms. I think the people are starting to speak. Once people understand the stupidity, the madness, the lack of respect, the lack of caring, the lack of knowing how your government’s foreign policies are responsible for the flood of desperate immigrants looking for a way to feed their family, they will do the right thing and stand with common folk instead of corrupt politicians, opportunistic corporations and their lawmakers. There are precedents like these and they’ve all finished badly. The German people for one were manipulated in the 40′s to blame all of their financial woes on the immigrants. We all know how that ended but most people don’t really understand how it all started and how many other nations and foreign policies aimed at Germany helped create that perfect storm. It’s easy to just pretend that it was all because of one evil man. We are now walking that slippery slope.

Only a fool, like Eric Holder and Janet Napolitano would ever make any sort of judgement on this subject without reading the bill.

Do you fall in the fool category?

Let me see if I’m getting this straight: a libertarian supports the Arizona law calling for anyone stopped by cops to be required to be able to prove citizenship or permission of the government to be where they are and that any other citizen can sue a police officer for failing to ask someone for the papers… That doesn’t sound very libertarian to me. What if we had legal immigration as an alternative to illegal immigration so that people didn’t have to walk across Arizona to get here and a process so that the little 8 year old US citizen girl wouldn’t be scared that Mrs. Obama’s husband wants to deport her mommy who doesn’t have papers? That seems more libertarian to me.

    Gray,

Do you live in Arizona? I don’t, but I know plenty of people that do who are overwhelmed with the problem. The people of Arizona support this measure by a number of over 70%, so I say that we let the citizens of that state support what they think is necessary to protect their families and property.

One more thing. You lost all credibility by suggesting that we have legal immigration. We do you moron. That is the whole point of this issue. People are coming over here illegally, with no regard for the United States, our laws, or quite frankly, anybody except for themselves.

    You have a head…….use it.

  7. Isn’t this law basically a copy of existing federal law? Obviously the people of Arizona are alarmed at the rate of illegal immigrants that are spilling over their border with Mexico into the state. So what are they to do? Just sit back while the whole state implodes? It is clear the feds have no intention of honoring their duty to secure the border. So Arizona has to take these measures. It is a sad situation all around.
