Arlen Specter. Good Riddance you Turncoat!
Specter’s flip flop bites him in the ass
I guess that switching parties in a constant search for political relevancy just doesn’t do the trick. On Tuesday, Pennsylvania voters kicked Arlen Specter to the curb in the Democratic Senate primary. Hell, even Barack Obama, AKA. the messiah, came to Pennsylvania to campaign on his behalf. Yet he lost the primary. If this isn’t well deserved justice, then I don’t know what is.
By sending home this politician, it gives a clear signal that voters have had enough of politicians whose only purpose in public service is to use their seat as a platform for personal gain. Politicians who will do anything, and say anything to get elected are getting ready to go the way of the passenger pigeon. So Benedict Specter……..exit stage right!
Charlie Crist, you are next!
Are you paying close attention Charlie? If I were you, I would make sure that you have some hobbies lined up, as you are getting ready to have quite a bit of free time on your hands. Maybe he can spend more time working on his oompa loompa like tan, and out of place white hair!
Crist exhibited a severe case of confusion by declaring openly on Fox News Sunday that he would never consider a run for the Senate on anything but the Republican platform. However, like Specter, Crist noticed that he was lagging substantially in the polls, so he decided that winning a seat by any means necessary trumps any semblance of a personal belief system.
As a result, Crist has done a 180 degree turn and decided to run as an independent candidate, not as a Republican. By doing so, that damn idiot is putting the seat in danger by possibly splitting the conservative vote come November. How selfless of him……..
So Crist is getting ready to get the boot, and I can only convey my gratitude to Marco Rubio for sending him packing.
Pay attention Politicians. The American Voter isn’t stupid
All of the jockeying for position in Washington aside, the one person that these politicans are estimated are nothing but your average run of the mill voter. And these voters are fed up!

You should not have the word “Libertarian” on your website. You and the people who write for this site are obvious republican hacks. Libertarians are just that Libertarians not the “Go Rush, Go Beck, we love you Sarah” which you all are. Good luck living in your fantasy world but when you want to get serious about being a Libertarian like Ron Paul let me know…but I am not holding my breath.
Dale,
Thanks for your input. Regardless of what you think, I don’t adhere to any party’s strict platform. I am more of a “Leave me the hell alone” type of guy. So, it saddens me to see a comment like that from someone who obviously doesn’t respect someone who isn’t a drone, and really doesn’t take marching orders from any party.
Rush is right about some stuff, Beck is as well. As far as Ron Paul goes, he is a very intelligent guy, who I agree with on many issues. However, his view on Iraq disturbs me, therefore I wouldn’t be a supporter. I do commend his son on his victory yesterday as a member of the Tea Party, and am anxious to watch his rise in popularity.
Dale,
Suck it easy.
