Healthcare Bill Vote Looms On Sunday

Sunday Vote on Healthcare

The countdown to the Obamacare bill has finally reached zero, with the vote scheduled for tomorrow. Either way, the healthcare bill will be passed or defeated on 3/21/10.

From a top level source in the House comes the news that the Democrats are still short of the 216 votes they need to pass Obamacare. They have decided, however, to go for broke on Sunday and attempt to pass it whether or not they have enough support. They feel that only by forcing a vote can the force members off the fence. They hope that by employing all means at their disposal, they can round up enough votes for passage. But, if they don’t have the votes, they will allow the measure to be defeated. One source called it a “suicide run.”

The Most Polarizing Issue in a Generation

The Obama Healthcare bill has been one of the most riveting political arguments ever, and if passed, it will alter the government influence on our society forever. As one who believes that this would be an abrupt move in the wrong direction, I hope and pray that the conscience of every democrat on the fence will manifest itself this evening while they sleep, and they give the big “thumbs down” tomorrow.

If they don’t, then 1/6 of our economy will be taken over, and there is no telling where the rabbit hole may lead. If you listen to our friends in Great Britain or Canada, we will have long lines, healthcare rationing, and the government serving as judge and juror in each of our healthcare situations.

If Healthcare Passes, What is Next?

A great fear of many is that if Obamacare can get pushed through using a backdoor tactic such as reconciliation or a daemon vote, this may be the beginning of a long line of far left legislation assaulting the U.S. people. Cap and Trade, Financial Reform, Global Warming, and other far left bills may be pushed though in a similar way. In essence, this would bring the legislative process to its knees, voiding the tenets of the required majorities needed to pass a bill.

With back room deals and blatant bribes becoming the norm in Washington, where will our country stand 10 years from now? The only thing that is certain is that it will look much different if healthcare is given the heads up tomorrow.

I’m saddened to see that a country with such wealth and resources still produces idiots like you. Please educate yourself on the evolution of past social changes and the prosperity that occurred afterwards. Strong opinions are immature without a perspective on the lessons of history.

Where you that idiot I was sitting next to in history class? I’m sorry. Looks what’s become of you.

    Nice Dave!

The sad thing is that all of the past social changes have led to nothing but a larger government with much more waste. It is funny that we both see history the way that we want to………see that is the thing about you foaming at the mouth type of libs…….you just can’t admit that there is another point of view without transgressing to personal attacks.

So keep on talking…….I respect your perspective, but the real funny thing is that while you are calling me an idiot, you can’t even type out correct grammar! :)Looks whats become of you”
